Reading of the week: New Publication Announcement: Measuring Political Transnationalism


A new research article has been published in the field of migration studies. The paper, “Using international surveys to measure political transnationalism: the civic competencies of the Swiss population residing in Latin America,” is co-authored by Pablo Biderbost, Guillermo Boscán, Ana Belén Nieto Librero, and Nerea González García of the Universidad de Salamanca, together with Maria da Luz Ramos of the University of Lisbon.


This collaborative work is now available as an Online First publication in the prestigious Migrations Journal (Revista Migraciones).


The article analyzes the political and civic engagement of the Swiss diaspora in Latin America, offering a methodological framework for using international surveys in transnationalism research.

Announcement: Ecotheology Scholarship for DPhil at Oxford

Applications are invited for a specialised scholarship supporting doctoral research in Ecotheology at the University of Oxford. The award is intended for candidates applying to the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Theology and Religion programme.

This scholarship aims to advance research in any branch of theology that critically engages with the relationship between religion, faith, and the natural environment. Proposals must demonstrate substantial engagement with systematic theology, political theology, or related applied theology areas.
