The Archives, Libraries, and Digital Scholarship Section comprises scholars, students, and cultural heritage professionals who are interested in fostering interdisciplinary dialogue around cultural repositories (museums, archives, libraries, etc.) and information. Our section members produce research and lead initiatives focused on digital methodologies/humanities, information analysis and access, data, cultural heritage preservation, archival theory and practice, digital pedagogy, and open access publishing. All LASA members are welcome to this section.
This year, we will be launching several initiatives, including member-only online digital humanities workshops and a section award. If you are a current LASA member and would like to become a section member, add the section when reneweing your LASA memebrship or contact our section chair at aapalacios@austin.utexas.edu.
