LASA Sections

Colonia/Colônia 2:3 is now available. Among other items, this issue features the following:

• a note of welcome from 2014-2015 chair Ann De León (Univ. of Alberta);
• an article by Santa Arias (Univ. of Kansas) on the winner of the Colonial Section's 2014 Maureen Ahern Doctoral Dissertation Award in Colonial Latin American Studies;
• an announcement on the naming of Rolena Adorno (Yale Univ.) as the recipient of the Modern Language Association's triennial Award for Lifetime Scholarly Achievement;
• the call for submissions for the Colonial Section's 2015 prize for Best Article in Colonial Latin American Studies by a Junior Scholar; and
