LASA Sections

The Board of the Latinx Studies Section of LASA will organize a one-hour virtual meeting (October 24, 2025, 12 p.m. ET) on the challenges and potentialities, in the current context, presented by centers/institutes that carry out studies on the Latino population.

a) Celso Castilho - Director of The Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies (Vanderbilt University)

b) Cristian Doña Reveco - Director of the Office of Latino/Latin American Studies (University of Nebraska-Omaha

c) Beatriz Padilla - Director of The Institute for the Study of Latin American and the Caribbean (University of South Florida)
